Rakul Preet Singh was born on 10 October 1990 in New Delhi, India. She did her schoolings at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and then moved to Jesus and Marry College to pursue her graduation in the field of Mathematics. Rakul Preet Singh’s father is Rajender Singh and her mother is Kulwinder Singh. Rakul Preet Singh is an active golf player and she has played at the national level.
Rakul Preet Singh initially started her career as a Model during her college days. She was very passionate towards acting. In the year 2009, She made her debut in Kannada through the movie “Gilli” which is the remake of Kollywood’s “7G Rainbow Colony“. After completing her graduation, she competed in 2011 Femina Miss India Pageant which gave her recognition.

She signed her second movie Keratam (Telugu) in the year 2011. She made her Tamil debut in the year 2012 through the movie “Thadaiyara Thaakka”.
