Raju Sundaram Early Life and Career
Raju Sundaram was born on 7 March 1968, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Raju Sundaram family is now residing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His father name is Mugur Sundar who is the famous choreographer of Tamil film industry and his mother name is Mahadevamma Sundar. Then he has two brothers named Prabhu Deva, who is a famous dancer and choreographer in Indian film industry Nagendra Prasad is also a dancer and choreographer of Tamil film industry. He started his career as an assistant choreographer with his father Mugur Sundar’s projects. As a dancer, he made his first song Rukkumani Rukkumani for the Mani Ratnam movie Roja in the year 1992 and he appeared in the movie Aasai in 1995. Later he used to feature in his brother’s movie in the cameo role and this pair making appearances in Shankar‘s early films Gentleman in 1993 and in the movie Kadhalan as well. Once after he appeared as a lead choreographer for a few Kannada movies, he made his breakthrough movie Thiruda Thiruda directed by Mani Ratnam in 1993 in this movie he designed songs for three movies.
After this movie, he became a choreographer of Tamil directors Mani Ratnam and Shankar as well as he worked on Amitabh Bachchan‘s album, Aby Baby in 1996. In the year 1998, director Shankar offered him a chance to feature in his romantic comedy movie Jeans as Madesh. Then he played a lead role in the movie I Love You Da which is a sports drama in the year 2002. Later in 2003, he featured in the trilingual movie One Two Three with his brothers Prabhu Deva, Nagendra Prasad opposite to Jyothika. The movie was screened in three languages like Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Then he featured in comic roles in the movies like Jeeva’s Unnale Unnale with Vinay (2007), Prabhu Deva’s Engeyum Kadhal with Jayam Ravi (2011) and in the Telugu film, Action 3D (2013). Moreover, he is the National Award-winning Indian choreographer.
