Raj Tarun is an Indian film actor who predominantly works in Tollywood industry. He is also known as Rajam Tharun. Raj made his acting debut in the 2013 Telugu movie Uyyala Jampala. Raj Tarun Details

Raj Tarun was born on 11 May 1992 in a Palasa village of Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his schooling in the same city. From his childhood, he was inclined towards cinema and developed a special interest towards films after watching a lot of them. His father is a magician and a hypnotist who encouraged Raj Tarun to do magic shows in school since he was 3 years old. He also participated in many fancy dress competitions and was a topper in school till his tenth standard.

He then joined his engineering course and met a few other friends who also shared the same interest in filmmaking. All of them formed a group together and started making short films which became successful and helped Raj Tarun get recognition in the film industry. Later, he dropped out of his engineering course and started his career as a short filmmaker. His notable short films are The Blind Date, Approach, Proposal, Love At First Sight, Sambhar Idly, etc., which become very popular on YouTube. He then joined Ram Mohan of Sunshine Cinemas as an assistant director.
