Their films are noted for their unique style and technical finesse. The Chennai based couples have made three films in Tamil which are distinctive. Oram Po (2007) and Va Quarter Cutting (2010) are characterized by oddball characters who comically explore the underbelly of Chennai. Pushkar Gayathri Profile and Career

Pushkar and Gayatri are the Chennai based couples where both have finished the Master of Fine Arts in Film Making. The couple completed their Undergraduate degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai. Later, Gayatri did here postgraduate at Northwestern University, Chicago while Pushkar at the University of New Orleans.

The couple has been in the Kollywood industry since 2007. They have made three feature films in Tamil like Oram Po, Va Quarter Cutting, and Vikram Vedha. The first two movies earned them a corner fan-club both in India and abroad while their third movie Vikram Vedha has received rave reviews all over the world.

Pushkar’s and Gayatri’s movies have been much appreciated by both the audience and critics alike for their bright attention to details. The couple personally contributes to the costumes, dialogues, set-decoration and actively involve themselves in writing the lyrics, editing and in the background score for the film.
