She started her career in the film industry as an editor and she grows up her knowledge in direction and writing stories. As an editor, her first movie was Om Dar-B-Dar (1988). In 1999, she has written and directed the movie Gateway to Heaven. In 2020, her movie Baaram (Tamil) has received a National Award.
