Priya Anand is an Indian film actress and model, who appears in the Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films. After completing the higher studies in the US, she began the career in the modelling in 2008 before doing her acting debut in Tamil film Vaamanan (2009) and then her Telugu debut in Leader a year later. She then made her Bollywood debut in 2012, with the supporting role in English Vinglish and then she appeared in the films Fukrey (2013) as Priya and Rangrezz (2013). Priya Anand Profile And Career

Priya Anand was born on 17 August 1986, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is the only daughter of Radha and father Bharadwaj Anand. Her father is half-Telugu, half-Marathi So that Priya Anand was brought up in both her parents’ hometowns, Chennai and Hyderabad, Telangana, becoming fluent in Tamil and Telugu. Beside native languages, Priya is proficient in English, Marathi, Bengali, Hindi, and Spanish as well. She was fascinated with the films, developing the interest in cinema, Since childhood, and noted that she had the dream of getting into the film industry and working on the technical aspects of filmmaking, but confesses she never thought of becoming an actor. She moved to the US, where she continued her higher studies. After finishing her education, she returned to India in 2008 and since, stays with her grandparents in Chennai. She then entered into modelling, appearing in various television advertisements like Nutrine Maha Lacto, Prince Jewellery and Cadbury Dairy Milk.
