Prasanna is an Indian Actor, who mainly appears in Tamil film. He made his debut in Five Star in 2002, which was produced by Mani Ratnam. In addition to the lead roles, he also played various supporting roles. His film Achchamundu! Achchamundu!, in which he acted alongside with Sneha and an American actor John Shea, was screened at many international film festivals, like Shanghai and Cairo. Prasanna was born on 28 August 1982 to an upper-middle-class family in Tiruchirappalli. His father was an employee in BHEL, and his mother is a housewife. Prasanna completed his schooling in BHEL Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thiruchirappalli. He finished his EEE in Saranathan College of Engineering, Tiruchirapalli. He has one younger brother. Actor Prasanna was good in mimicry and acting when he was in school and college. Prasanna married actress Sneha on 11 May 2012. They had a baby boy on 10 August 2015.

In 2008, Prasanna was seen in three films. Prasanna’s role in Modern-day villain was a huge hit in Mysskin’s film Anjathey, and it was nominated for the 56th Filmfare Awards South in the Best Supporting Actor category.
