Poonam secured 7th place in the MX Player’s Lock Upp reality show hosted by Kangana Ranaut. On February 2, 2024, news was spread that she sadly passed away due to cervical cancer. But on February 3, Poonam released a video saying that she lied about her death to bring awareness to cervical cancer.
