Pichaikkaran 2 is a bilingual movie directed and performed by Vijay Antony. Fatima Vijay Antony produced this film under the banner of Vijay Antony Film Corporation. The film cast also includes Kavya Thapar, Dato Radha Ravi, Y G Mahendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, and Yogi Babu. K Palani and Paul Antony are the co-writers of the film. The sneak peek trailer has been released with the quotation, “Money is Injurious to health.” Pichaikkaran 2 is slated to release on 19th May 2023.

The makers confirmed the project on the occasion of Vijay Antony’s birthday. The film was initially directed by Nation Award-winning director Priya Krishnaswamy of Baaram fame. The first part of the Pichaikkaran was directed by Sasi, and it went on to become a huge hit in both Kollywood and Tollywood. Pichaikkaran 2 movie was simultaneously made in Telugu titled Bitchagadu 2. It also comes in Malayalam and Kannada languages with a title Bhikshuka2 and Bhikshakkaran2. Satellite & Digital rights were acquired by Star Network for a whopping price.

Based on the official sources, Pichaikkaran 2 movie ott streaming rights were bagged by Disney Plus Hotstar. After its successful running in theatres, the movie will be premiered worldwide within 30 – 45 of its official release.

Accident

During an action sequences shoot on Langkawi Island, Vijay Antony met a major accident and was heavily injured. He is undergoing treatment in Chennai.
