Peter Hein is an Indian action choreographer, fight master and stunt coordinator, who primarily works in the South Indian film industry. He made his debut by choreographing the stunt sequence in the Tamil movie “Minnale,” directed by Gautham Menon in the year 2001. He became famous for his work in movies like Anniyan (2005), Sivaji (2007), Ghajini (2008), Magadheera (2009) and more. Peter Hein Early Life and Career

Peter Hein was born on 12 August 1973 in Thirunallar, Karaikal, Puducherry, India. Peter Hein family is now residing in Karaikal, Puducherry, India. His father name is Perumal, an assistant fight master in the Tamil film industry and his mother details will be updated soon. His schooling and graduation details will be updated soon. Peter Hein started his career as an extra fighter and assistant fight master for the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. Initially, he worked as an assistant to the famous action directors like Kanal Kannan and Vijayan.

As a fight master, his debut movie was “Minnale,” a Tamil film directed by Gautham Menon in 2001. In the same year, he worked in Krishna Vamsi’s Telugu movie “Murari.” After the success of that movie, he started to work as a full-length action film director, action coordinator and stunt director for various Telugu and Tamil movies. Later, he gained recognition from the critics and media for his work in the movies like Anji, Run, and Kaakha Kaakha. Director Ram Gopal Varma introduced Peter Hein in the Bollywood film industry with the movie “James.” After seeing the movies Athadu, Anniyan and Sivaji, director Mani Ratnam was very much impressed in his work and enrolled him to direct the stunt sequences for the movie Raavan.

Peter Hein has been nominated for the noted Taurus World Stunt Award against many big Hollywood names. He also received the Filmfare Award for Best Action for his work in Ghajini. Moreover, the stunt masters like Anal Arasu, Silva, Anbariv, Hari Dinesh and Pradeep Dinesh has worked as fighters and assistants to him. He is a recipient of the National Film Award for Best Stunt Choreographer for his work in the movie Pulimurugan. In his early days, he also worked as a body double for heroines like Rambha, Meena, Roja and Vijayashanthi.
