A new Percy Jackson series based on Rick Riordan’s novel will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. After dropping the Percy Jackson movies like The Lightning and The Sea of Monsters sequel, the new series took the title of Percy Jackson and The Olympians. According to sources, the web series will be released in five seasons, each with one particular story. The first season of this series will stream online starting on 20 December 2023.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Olivea Morton. Walker Scobell, best known for his performance in The Adam Project, plays Percy Jackson, with Leah Sava’ Jeffries as Annabeth and Aryan Simhadri as Grover.

In this series, some of the novel characters have been modified. Disney+ Hotstar published this series’s cast and staff members to pique the audience’s interest. Each season will contain eight to ten episodes.

Storyline

The series is about one Percy Jackson who is the son of (Greek God of Seas) Poseidon and a human mother. He lives an everyday life like any other teenager, but everything changes when he discovers he is a demigod (Half Human Half God hybrid). What happens in his life after finding his true identity is the central conflict of this story.
