Pasupathy is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. He has done many notable roles in various shades. He is mostly known for negative roles. His performance in Jiiva’s E (2006) earned him a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. Pasupathy also won an ITFA Best Supporting Actor Award for his role in Vasu’s Kuselan (2008). He has also acted in Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada films. Pasupathi is a part of Prabhas‘s Kalki 2898 AD, based on the first glimpse he played a prominent role in the film.

- He is not an active member on Instagram.
- In 1984, he joined the Chennai-based theatre group “Koothu-P-Pattarai” and has been a part of many plays. In 1997, he left the group and entered the Tamil film industry.
- He made his acting debut in the 1999 Tamil film Housefull, directed by R. Parthipan. He got his first major recognized role in Kamal Haasan‘s Virumaandi as Kothaala Thevar.
- He then appeared in negative roles in a number of films such as Dhool, Sullan, Madhurey, and Thirupaachi. He later branched out into comedy with Mumbai Xpress, Majaa, and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara.
