Pallavi is the daughter of the late legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. She has a brother name SP Charan who is also a singer. Her mother’s name was Savitri Balasubrahmanyam. She sang in a few of her father’s songs like Andamaina Premarani, Ennake Ennake, Premika Ne Pyar Se, and more. Her classical songs were also critically acclaimed.
Her father SP Balasubrahmanyam has sung more than 40000 songs in 16 Indian languages. He passed away on 25 September at the age of 75. According to medical reports from MGM Healthcare, he died on a cardio-respiratory arrest. Many top celebrities including Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Salman Khan, Ilayaraja, AR Rahman, singers Lata Mangeshkar, and Asha Bhosle mourned for his loss.
