Nishikant Kamat is an Indian filmmaker who works predominantly in Hindi and Marathi film industry. He made his directorial debut with Hindi Movie ‘Hava Aney Dey’ (2004). Nishikant came to limelight after he directs the movie Dombivali Fast. The film went on to become the biggest Marathi film of the year. He remade his film, in Tamil with R. Madhavan in the lead with the title Evano Oruvan, which opened to rave reviews. He also acted in the Marathi film Saatchya Aat Gharat. Nishikant Kamat was born on 1970 in Malvan, Maharashtra, India. He has completed Diploma in Hotel management. His Father is a Mathematician’s professor and Mother is Sanskrit’s Teacher. Nishikant Kamat’s parents and siblings name are not known. Nishikant Kamat made his directorial debut with Hindi Movie ‘Hava Aney Dey’ (2004). His Dombivali Fast film made him recognize in the film industry. He is the recipient National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi for the film ‘Dombivali Fast’ in 2006. His directed other notable films such as Julie 2, Dady, Fugay, Madari, Rocky Handsome, Force, 404 Error Not Found, Drishyam, Lal Bhaari, Mumbai Meri Jaan etc. He is very talented and most popular director in India.
