Neha Dhupia is an Indian Actress and a Beauty pageant winner who predominantly works in the Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu and Malayalam language Films. Neha won the title Femina Miss India pageant in 2002 and progressed to the top 10 in finals of the Miss World competition. She has been in several nominations for the Filmfare Award, the Stardust Award, the International Indian Film Academy Award and Screen Awards. Neha made her acting debut in a stage play and appeared in a music video for Euphoria.
Neha Dhupia then picked up modelling career and appeared in advertisement campaigns. In 1994, Neha made her screen debut in the film Minnaram. In 2003, she made her Bollywood debut in the film Qayamat: City Under Threat and nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2017, she won the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress. Neha Dhupia was born on 27 August 1980 in Kochi, India to a Sikh family. Her father is Commander Pradip Singh Dhupia, who served the Indian Navy and mother, Manpinder, (Babli Dhupia) is a homemaker. Neha did her schooling in Navy Public School then transferred to Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. Neha Dhupia got graduated from Jesus and Mary College in New Delhi, affiliated to the University of Delhi. On May 10, 2018, Neha married actor Angad Bedi in a private ceremony at a Gurudwara.
In 2016, Neha hosted a Bollywood podcast called #NoFilterNeha in which she interviews famous Bollywood celebrities. The show aired on the Indian Music App called Saavn and received so much response from the audience with over 2.3 million listeners. In 2017, Neha once again brought back the second season of the show with the name #NoFilterNeha Season 2. Neha has supported the Concern India Foundation with her Mumbai Marathon that has raised over 5 lakhs. Neha has also been very helpful for the victims of 2011 Sikkim earthquake by raising funds.
