Neetu Chandra is an Indian actress, theatre artist and producer, who predominantly works in Bollywood film industry, with that, she also appears in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industry. She is one of the established classical dancer and an active sportsperson, and she involved in the promotion of basketball through her close association with the NBA and Taekwondo, and it is being a fourth Dan black belt. She made her debut Telugu movie Vishnu in the year 2003 and she made her debut Hindi movie Garam Masala in the year 2005. Neetu Chandra was born on 20 June 1984 in Patna, Bihar, India. Neetu Chandra family is now residing in Patna, Bihar, India. Her father name is Umesh Chandra Shirvastava and her mother name is Neera Chandra. She did her schooling in Notre Dame Academy, Patna, India and she did her graduation in Indraprastha College for Women, New Delhi, India. She started her modelling career in her college days and she gave her success to her mother to a native of East Champaran in Bihar. Later she appeared in various TV advertisement and videos. Then she holds two black belts in Taekwondo with that she represents India in the year 1997 in the World Taekwondo Championships that held in Hong Kong. She has two brothers elder brother named Nithin Chandra and younger brother Abhishek Chandra who is the fashion designer for Bollywood movies.

Neetu Chandra enters into the Hindi film industry in the year 2005 with the movie Garam Masala and she is portrayed as Sweety and she appeared as an air hostess in this movie. Later she appeared in various Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movie. She made her debut in Tamil movie Yavarum Nalam which is a thriller horror movie in the year 2009. Then she also completed her filming for a Greek film Home Sweet Home. Moreover, she is the brand ambassador for the Hoop which is a Gitanjali brand. She appeared in television commercials like Mysore Sandal, and more. Then she featured in various music videos as well.
