Naveen Tewari is an Indian entrepreneur and a founder and CEO of the InMobi, a global mobile advertising and, technology platform. He is a Board member of the Paytm. He began his professional journey started with McKinsey and Company as the business analyst from 2000 to 2003 followed by the stint in 2004, at Charles River Ventures as an Associate. In 2005, he studied at the Harvard Business School (HBS) for Master’s degree in Business Administration, where he was granted the Dean’s Award, for exceptional leadership and contribution. Naveen Tewari was born on 14 December 1977, and He grew up in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He is the son of Dr Sachinand, who was a Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Naveen has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT) in 2000. There he met Amit Gupta and Abhay Singhal who would later go on to be co-founders of InMobi along with Mohti Saxena. He also founded and chairs a U.S. Based nonprofit called India Schoolhouse Fund which funds and sets up schools in rural India. Recently in 2015, Naveen Tewari along with IDG Ventures invested $1.2M in Nestaway, which is considered as India’s largest home rental network.
