Natarajan Sankaran was born in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. Natarajan Sankaran family is now residing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His father name is Shankaran who is an Electrical engineer and his mother name is Sundari who is a housewife. His schooling and graduation details will be updated soon. He started his career as a mechanical engineer, with that, he in the EID Parry and Glaxo SmithKline, Delhi. Later he resigned from the job to continue his career as a music director. He trained in piano from Musee musical, which is one of the affiliated colleges of  Trinity College, London.

Natarajan Sankaran started his career in the film industry in 2011 form the movie Moodar Koodam by his friend Naveen who is the director of that movie. Moreover, Naveen offered him a chance to compose five songs for his movie and the score has won the critical acclaim among the people. Then he fetched an opportunity from one of the leading directors Chimbudevan for the movie Oru Kanniyum Moonu  Kalavaanikalum Arulnithi starred in this movie. After this movie, he got a chance to work for the movies like Kappal, Enkitta Mothathe and Kolanji with this movie now he working in various Tamil movies as well.
