Nara Rohit was born on 25 July 1984, in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. Nara Rohit family is now residing in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. His father name is Nara Ramamurthy Naidu and his mother name will be updated soon. He did his schooling and Intermediate Vignan College, Vadlamudi and he did his graduation in B.Tech. in Industrial Bio-Technology at Anna University, Chennai and acting course in New York Film Academy, New York.

He started his acting career in the year 2009, from the movie Baanam which is directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri. Then in his second movie titled Solo, he received the moderate success, and this movie was directed by Parasuram. Then in the year 2012, he made a special role in the movie Sarocharu which is directed by Ravi Teja. Later he featured in the Srinivas Raga direction movie Okkadine along with Nithya Menon in 2013 but the movie was not successful in Box office. As a producer, he produced the movie Nala Damayanti in this Shree Vishnu appeared in lead role and the movie is directed by Kovera.
