Nanditha Raj was born on 30 August 1994 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her father Colonel Raj Kumar is an army officer. She spent her schoolings in various army schools like high school in Army Public School in R.K. Puram. She was graduated from St. Francis college in Hyderabad. She started her career in modeling and won several beauty contests. She then entered the film industry and started her film career with the 2012 Telugu film Neeku Naaku Dash Dash under the direction of Teja. Her next film was Prema Katha Chitram, with Sudheer Babu as her co-star became a box-office blockbuster.
