Nandini Harinath is an Indin scientist who works at ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) satellite center. ISRO was the first job to which Nandini applied. In the 20 years of work at ISRO, Nandini has worked on more than 14 missions. Nandini is now the senior scientist at the ISRO Satellite Centre located in Bengaluru. She served as the deputy operations director for the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM). Nandini is one of the few women scientists who worked on the Chandrayaan 3 satellite project.

• She is working at the ISRO Satellite Centre which is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• From a very young age, Nandini Harinath started developing an interest in space research and science. Her first exposure to science was through the Television series called “Star Trek”.
• Nandini Harinath’s mother is a maths teacher and her father is an engineer. As a family, they started developing an interest in Star Trek and Science Fiction. This made Nandini go for space research.
• Nandini has also worked for the NASA-ISRO joint satellite named NISAR.
• Apart from her work, She has also published numerous publications and has also been awarded and felicitated many times. She won the “India Today Woman in Science Award” in the year 2015.
