Namitha Pramod is born on 19th September 1996 in Kumarakom, Kerala, India. She was born to a Kerala Businessman Pramod and Indu who is a housewife. She has a Younger sister named “Akhita Pramod”. She did her schoolings at Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School which is located in Thiruvananthapuram. After completing her schoolings, she joined St. Teresa’s College to get graduated in the field of B.A. Sociology. Namitha Pramod made her entry as a Television actress when she was studying 7th grade. She acted in the serial Vellankanni Mathavu where she played the role “Mathavu“.

She made her entry into the big screen through the movie “Traffic” which was directed by Rajesh Pillai. The movie was critically acclaimed and was appreciated for its story. In the year 2012, she played her first lead role in the Malayalam movie “Puthiya Theerangal“. After this movie, She got many opportunities to act in various other movies. She made her Tamil debut in the movie En Kaadhal Pudhithu which was released in the year 2014. Namitha Pramod also made her debut in a Telugu Movie in the year 2016.

Namitha Pramod’s next Tamil movie “Nimir” is set to be released this year. In this movie, She is playing a lead role opposite to Udhyanidhi Stalin. She is also acting in 3 Malayalam Movies which is under filming stage.
