He is the founder, editor, and publisher of the famous Tamil political investigative journal Nakkheeran. He was well-known for interviewing Veerappan, who is one of the most important fugitives and forest brigades in Tamil Nadu. Nakkeeran Gopal usually involves in debate shows and events.
