Mundhanai Mudichu 2 is an upcoming Tamil movie starring Sasikumar and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles. K. Bhagyaraj will be penning the story, screenplay, and dialogues with some changes. The movie will be directed by Balaji. The remake of epic blockbuster Mundhanai Mudichu was bankrolled by JSB Sathish under the JSB film Studios banner.

It is a sequel of the 1983 Tamil romantic comedy film Mundhanai Mudichu directed and starred by K. Bhagyaraj. Veteran actress Urvashi plays the female lead. The film revolves around a mischievous girl named Parimala who falls in love with a widower who works as a teacher. The film was a blockbuster hit and fans are expecting a sequel to this movie.
