Munawar Faruqui is a stand-up comedian, writer, and rapper. He was born on January 28, 1992, in Junagadh, Gujarat. He started his career as a graphic designer and later he become a stand-up comedian. He went for an all-India tour where he performed comedies in different cities. He is one of the contestants in the MX Player reality show Lock Upp hosted by Kangana Ranaut.

• When he was 17, his father fall ill and he was forced to work when he attends school. So he worked in a utensil store for quite some time.
• Controversy: On January 1, 2021, he performed a show in Munor Cafe in Indore, it was interrupted by an MLA’s son accusing him of making wrongful jokes about Hindu deities and the Union Home Minister. He was then arrested by Madhya Pradesh police. But Supreme Court granted bail for Faruqui.
• In 2002, Faruqui and his family relocated to Mumbai due to the Gujarat riots.
