Mukta Barve is an Indian film, television actress and producer, who predominantly appears in Marathi film industry. She made her debut TV Show Ghadlay Bighadlay in this show she appeared in the role as Champa in the year 1998. She made her debut movie Chakwa in this movie she appeared in the role as Chhaya in the year 2004. Then her debut theatre play is Ghar Tighancha Asava in the year 1996. Mukta Barve was born on 17 May 1979 in Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Mukta Barve her family details will be updated soon. She did her schooling in Sir Parshurambhau College, Pune and she did her graduation in Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has a brother named Debu Barve who is a commercial artist. During her school days, she used to participate in various plays and after her 10th standard, he decided to take up acting as her profession. She started her acting career in the year 1996 from the theatre play Ghar Tighancha Asava. Then in the year 1999, she made her debut television show Ghadlay Bighadlay and in the year 2001, she appeared in a theatre play Aamhala Vegle Vhayache in this play she featured in a supporting role.
Later in the year 2002, she made her debut movie Chakwa in this movie she appeared in the role Chhaya. Her acting was appreciated in the movies like Thang (2006), Maati Maay (2007), Sawar Re (2007), Saas Bahu Aur Sensex (2008), Sumbaran (2009) and Ek Daav Dhobi Pachhad (2009). Then the movie Jogwa has become a turning point in her career which offers her the back-to-back hit films such as Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai (2010), Aaghaat (2009), Badam Rani Gulam Chor (2012), Lagna Pahave Karun (2013), and more. In the year 2015, she became a part of successful movies include Highway, Double Seat and Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2. In the year 2010, Mukta Barve has owned her production house named Rasika Productions under this production company she produced three theatre plays titled Chhapa Kata, Lovebirds and Indira. Then for her acting, she grabbed six Maharashtra State Film Awards one for Best Debut and other five awards for Best Actress in different plays and films.
