Mukesh is an Indian actor and member of the legislative party from the Kollam Constituency in Kerala. He was a notable actor in the Malayalam film industry. Mukesh acted in stage shows and dramas before entering into cinema. He worked on more than 250 films in his career. In 2016, he was elected to Kerala state legislative assembly by representing CPI(M).

Mukesh became controversial after talking over the phone to the 10th student in an arrogant manner. The audio went viral on the internet. The boy told that he got Mukesh’s (MLA) number from his friend to tell the issues and problems. But Mukesh started scolding him in an arrogant manner, though the boy apologizing in a conversation. Mukesh claimed that the boy was called six times and he was on an important zoom meeting and also it is a planned event to defame my position and elections.
