Mohan Vaidya is a musician, singer and actor. As an actor he debuted in the Kollywood movie Sethu (1999) directed by Bala. Mohan also featured in a cookery show. In 2018, Mohan founded a music school in Coimbatore called Sai Sishya. In June 2019, he is one of the contestants of the Tamil reality show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3.

• Mohan Vaidya was born and brought up from a Music family his father K.M. Vaidyanathan was a Ghatam Vidwan and his mother, Vasantha Vaidyanathan was a Vainika.
• After his graduation, he learned Violin form Radha Sundaresan and the he learned vocal from various gurus like Tiruvavur Sethuraman, Srirangam Ranganathan, K.C. Thyagarajan and Anayampati Ganesan.
• He moved to Delhi and joined in the troupe of Saroja Vaidyanathan and started singing. Then he also lent his voice to other dancers like Vilasini Natyam exponent Swapnasundari, Leela Samson, Yamini Krishnamurthy and Bharathi Shivaji.
• At that time, when he working with the dancers, he got attracted with dancing and started to learn dancing.
• He has also appeared in the TV show Sevikkum Suvaikkum.
• In the yer 1999, he made his debut movie Sethu. Then in 2002, he made his Telugu debut movie Seshu.
• He has also appeared as a judge of a Zee TV’s music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge.
• He is the owner of Chennai’s Mohan Vaithya Anusham Academy and Sai Sishya Music Schools, in that school they teach B-Boying, Hip-Hop, Locking Popping, Zumba, Kathak, Salsa, Contemporary and Hula Hoop for children.
• He was also honored by former late president Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
