Milind Murali Deora is an Indian politician. He was a Member of 15th Lok Sabha, the lower house of parliament of India. From the Mumbai South Constituency. He is the Former Minister of State with Ministry of Information Technology and Communications and the Former Minister of the Stae with the Ministry of Shipping within the Government of India. Deora is one of the younger members of the current Lok Sabha. He became MP at the age of 27. He won 2004 Lok Sabha Election, and he was again elected from Mumbai South Constituency, by a margin of 1,12,682 votes. He was included in the Union government of India as the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology in 2011. Deora was born on 4 December 1976, in Mumbai, India. He is the son of Veteran Politician Murli Deora, who was the Member of Parliament for the same constituency between 1984 and 1996, and once again in 1998 in the Lok Sabha. He is the alumnus of Cathedral and John Connon School, Sydenham College and Boston University in the United States. He has completed B.A in Business and Political Science from Boston University. Milind Deora was one of the youngest members of 14th Lok Sabha. He got elected to the 14th Lok Sabha. He won in the elections held in 2004 with a margin of 10,000 votes against BJP’s Jaywantiben Mehta. He was a member of the Standing Committee on the Defence along with the Consultative Committee in the Ministry of Defence in 2004.
