Methil Devika is an Indian Classical dancer, dance research scholar, educator, performer, and choreographer, who hails from Palakkad. Moreover, she is the wife of famous Malayalam actor Mukesh. She is quite famous for the Classical Dance Form of Mohiniyattam. Methil Devika work has always been appearing mostly on the proscenium stages. Methil Devika Early Life and Career

Methil Devika was born on 18 January 1976, in Palakkad, Kerala, India. Methil Devika father is N.Rajagopal and his mother Methil Rajeswari, Methil Devika family is now residing in Palakkad, Kerala, India. She did her schooling in The Indian High School, Dubai, and also in St. Thomas Convent, Palakkad, Kerala. Then did graduation in Mercy College, Palakkad, she did her Undergraduate in Commerce. Vice Chairperson of the college union at Government Victoria College, Palakkad, and she did her Masters in Business Administration at Madras University. In Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkatta, she did her Ph.D. in Mohiniyattam Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu. Methil Devika has two siblings elder sisters named Radhika Pillai who is an Educator and Art Critic and Methil Renuka who works as Editor, Forbes Woman Africa. Methil Devika has married Rajeev Nair in the year 2002 and this couple has a son named Devanga. They both got divorced and Methil Devika married Mukesh on 24 October 2013 and it is the second marriage for Mukesh his first wife is actress Saritha. She appeared in most of the stage shows all around the world like the USA, Europe, Australia, Esplanade theatre in Singapore, with that, she appeared for major festivals such as the Khajuraho Dance Festival and the Madras Music Akademy and more.
