Merry Christmas is an upcoming bilingual movie by director Sriram Raghavan of Andhadhun fame. Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif are the lead pairs in the plot. Radhika Apte, Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, and Radhika Sarathkumar are playing significant characters. Together with Kewal Garg, Ramesh Taurani, and Sanjay Routray, they produced this flick under the Tips Flims and Matchbox Pictures banner.

Cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan has taken the camera handling for the venture along with editor Pooja Latha. Initially, the film is to be released for Christmas, as the movie title suggests. But the release date was pushed to next year (2024) for unknown reasons.

The trailer of the film was released on December 20, 2023. The film is a one-night story that happens on Christmas. It is the story of two strangers who met randomly and fell in love without knowing their past lives. A moment comes when the protagonist’s (Vijay Sethupathi) past life starts affecting the female leads (Katrina Kaif’s) present life. What happens to them is the main crux.

Release Date

The film will have its theater release on January 12, 2023.
