Mari Selvaraj is an Indian film director and author from the Thoothukudi district. He worked as an assistant director in the Tamil movie Thanga Meengal (2013) directed by Ram. Later in 2018, Selvaraj made his debut as a director in the super hit Tamil movie Pariyerum Perumal produced by Neelam Productions. He also assisted in movies like Kattradhu Thamizh and Taramani. His second venture Karnan was a blockbuster hit that joins actor Dhanush in the opening box office king list.
