Manjot Kalra was born on 15 January 1999 in New Delhi, India. He did his schoolings at Bal Bharti Public school, Rohini, Delhi. Manjot Kalra is an energetic player and a fabulous opener. Earlier days he was not interested in playing cricket full time but after the U-16 matches, things got changed. Manjot Kalra is under the privileged Sanjay Bhardwaj who is the one groomed Gautam Gambhir, Unmukt Chand, Amit Mishra, and Nitish Rana.

Manjot Kalra is a Right-Handed Opening batsman. He had faced the age fraud controversy and had undergone the age test before entering the U-19 World Squad. He was part of the squad which lost to Nepal in the Asia Cup match held at Malaysia. Manjot then came back with a stunning 172 in the U19 Behar trophy which helped him seal a position in the U19 squad. In the finals, Manjot scored an unbeaten 101* making the team win the U19 world cup.

Manjot Kalra is playing for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL 2018.
