Manasi Joshi

Manasi Joshi is an Indian Para-Badminton athlete, who won the Gold medal in women’s single in 2019 Para Olympics which was held at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. At the age of six, she started playing badminton with her father. Her father is a retired scientist from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Due to her interest in badminton, she continued her game and won several medals in Para-Badminton.

In the year 2015, she participated in Para-Badminton World Championship held in Stoke Mandeville, England where she won a Silver Medal in Mixed doubles. Then in the year 2018, she won a Bronze medal for India at the Asian Para Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
