Maanasi G Kannan is a contestant in the Star Vijay TV Super Singer Season 8. She has been singing Carnatic and Bhajan for the past 8 years. She has sung for a Malaysian Tamil Serial for Naan Kabali Alla. She is one of the finalists in the Sankara Super Singer. She is a higher education student at Kalakshetra school. Maanasi sang in the Virtual Navaratri Concert Series 2020. And also she is a part of the Paropakar Musiano team.

Maanasi Kannan has made several mashups and cover videos of popular songs. She can be seen performing in many music-based YouTube channels. She has won the award for the Carnatic Music Solo competition in Kalakshetra.
