Maamannan is Udhayanidhi Stalin’s latest thriller drama directed by Mari Selvaraj. He is known for his cult classics like Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan. The film cast also includes Keerthy Suresh, Fahadh Faasil, and Vadivelu in prominent roles. The movie is produced by Red Giant Movies. Behind the scenes, the music works are done by the two-time Oscar winner, A R Rahman. Theni Eswar and Selva RK are roped in for the camera and editing. The movie will be screened only in theaters on 29 June 2023.

The film follows the story of a single man who gets tortured for trying to do some good. A community was ruled by a local influential man who has support from the corrupt authorities. The protagonist collects evidence against him to change the communities fate but he was helpless, and due to that he was stuck in endless torture. What will happen next is the main crux of the film.
