M. Mahender Reddy was born on 3 December 1962, in Khammam District, Hyderabad, Telangana. M. Mahender Reddy family is now residing in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and other family details will be updated soon. His schooling details will be updated soon, and he did his graduation in NIT Warangala and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. At the time when he was pursuing his M.Tech, he got selected for IPS. He also did his masters in Public Personnel Management from the Osmania University. He started his service as an Assistant SP of Godavarikhani in Karimnagar and Guntur town and also served as Additional SP of Bellampally in Adilabad and aired as SP of Nizamabad and Kurnool districts. Later, he worked in the East zone DCP in Hyderabad commissioner for three years from 1995. He also featured as a faculty member at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, from where he went for a study tour to the UK and the USA to familiarize himself with police systems in those countries.
