Local BJP leader Killed by Miscreants in South 24 Parganas

On Saturday, a local BJP leader in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district was killed by unidentified miscreants in Mandir Bazar area. The secretary of BJP Mandal committee of Mandira Bazar-Dhanurhat area, Shaktipada Sardar aged 45 was attacked by miscreants with the sharp weapon when he returned to the home last night.

The local people from that area have spotted Mr. Shaktipada Sardar lying on the road and they rushed him to the Diamond Harbour Hospital. As his condition was deteriorated, the Diamond Harbour Hospital has referred him to another hospital in Kolkatta. But he was passed away while going to the hospital. Some of the BJP members have alleged that Mr. Sardar was killed by Trinamool Congress “goons.” But, the Trinamool Congress has denied those allegations.
