Lakshmi Manchu is an Indian film actress, producer, and television presenter, who predominantly works in Telugu cinema and American television. She is the daughter of veteran actor Mohan Babu and Vidya Devi. She began acting on stage at the age of 4 and made her on-screen debut with English Film ‘The Ode’ in 2008 and Telugu Debut in ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’ (2011). Lakshmi Manchu was born on 8 October 1977 in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. She is the only daughter of actor turned politician Mohan Babu and Vidya Devi. She has one brother Vishnu Manchu and half-brother Manoj Manchu. Lakshmi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Oklahoma City University. Having started her career at the age of 4, Manchu has been in 20 feature films in India and the U.S.

She made her acting debut with the American television series Las Vegas and has been part of popular Hollywood Tv shows like Desperate Housewives, Mystery ER, Boston legal before beginning her own television career in Telugu industry. She has also appeared in commercials for Toyota, AARP, and Chevrolet.

In 2006, she directed, produced and acted in a short film titled Perfect Lives. The film was showcased at the Wilshire Fine Arts Theater as part of the La Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles. She has earned the South Indian International Movie Award, two Filmfare Awards South, and the state Nandi Award. She was furthermore appearing in the upcoming American film Basmati Blues.

She also produces the films under his production company Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. Lakhsmi is married twice, Her first husband was London Srinivas aka srinivas kollipara and second husband Andy Srinivasan. She has a daughter named Vidya Nirvana Manchu Anand.
