Lakshay is an Indian Sports Shooter, who represent India for world shooting championships. He first won his national junior champion on 2016 National Shooting Championships just by defeating Manavaditya Singh Rathore of Rajasthan in the men’s trap event. Lakshay Details

Lakshay was born on 4 November 1998 in Jind, Haryana, Indian. Lakshay family and schooling details will be updated soon. His father is a former wrestling national champion Somveer pehalwan. In the year 2014, he started his training in Shooting, but he initially practised air pistol shooting and later he switched to shotgun shooting once after he visits Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range. Then in the year 2016, he represents Haryana and become a national junior champion in 2016 National Shooting Championships just by defeating the Manavaditya Singh Rathore of Rajasthan in the men’s trap event. Later in the year 2017, he won his second junior national title in 2017 just by defeating Vivaan Kapoor of Rajasthan by 41-39.

Then in  2017 ISSF Junior World Cup which held in Italy, where he paired with Manisha Keer for the mixed team event they scored 84 out of 100 and qualified for finals. Then in the finals, they won the Bronze after defeating Sevin Edward Layer and Emma Lee Williams of United States by 34–33. Then he gets paired with Vivaan Kapoor and Ali Aman Elahi for the men’s trap team event for 2018 ISSF Junior World Cup where he won the Bronze medal. Moreover, he achieved the apex ranking in trap shooting just by defeating Manavjit Singh Sandhu and Kynan Chenai in the trials for 2018 Asian Games. In the 2018 Asian Games, he won the Silver medal with the score 43 by losing to Chinese Taipei’s Yang Kun-pi. Moreover, he is one of the three  Asian Games silver medallists in the men’s trap event from India and the other two are Karni Singh in 1974 and Manavjit Singh Sandhu in 2006.
