Komal Jha is an Indian movie actress and writer, who predominantly works in Telugu film industry. Then she established her career in other language movies like Kannada, Malayalam and now Hindi film. She made her debut movie 3 Idiots in this she appeared as Student and it is directed by Rajkumar Hirani which is a Hindi movie. She recently appeared for the movie Hottie weds Naughty as Lavanya which is directed by Anand Raut in the year 2016. Komal Jha was born on 15 March 1987 in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. Komal Jha family is now residing in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her father name is Dr Shyama Nand Jha who is an author and philosopher and her mother name is Dr Bharti Jha. She did her schooling in DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali School, MECON Colony, Ranchi and she did her graduation in Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Once after her graduation, she was placed in a reputed construction company situated in Dubai but after a year she quit her job and shifted to India to start her career in glamour and acting field. Then she started her acting career in the year 2009 form the movie 3 Idiots in this movie she appeared as a student.

Her first Malayalam movie is 24Hrs which get released in 2010 she featured as Gauri and the movie is directed by Aditya Sam Abraham. Then in the same year, she shifted to Dubai and took a job in an international construction firm located in Dubai, UAE. In the year 2011, she gets back to India for the movies Nimbe Huli and Ramachari. She not only works for movies she used to appear in some television commercials and print ads for some brands like Axis Bank, BNP Paribas Mutual Funds and Moti Soap. Then in the following years, she featured in several movies like Chinna Cinema, Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama, Eduruleni Alexander, Billa Ranga, Maine Pyar Kiya and more. Her debut movie in lead role is Mr MBA.

Apart from acting, she is good at writing poetry and publishes poetry, with that, she has her own website as well. Then she also working in the Little Angels Orphanage located in Mumbai by collecting funds for them by selling her exclusive designer-wear. Later she finished her eighteen months’ crash course in Vedic Astrology with BCP and BSP techniques. Moreover, she was surrounded by some controversies as well. The complaint raised by the director of Nimbe Huli to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce before the release of the movie it stopped all her assignments in Kannada film industry. Then she alleged that co-actor Varun Sandesh indecently behaved with her during the filming of the film Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama. Then there is a news that she was romantically linked with the Indian Cricket captain M. S. Dhoni and with the well-known actor R. Madhavan. She denied all the rumours during her interview.
