Kishore K Swamy is a self-attested political analyst who targets and harasses women journalists over the years. He was a popular AIADMK and BJP supporter. He was arrested for defaming the current and veteran political leaders of the DMK party on social media platforms.
Based on the complaint from DMK IT Wing, the city police arrested him for spreading abusive and defaming content of the present and former chief minister. He was charged under the sections 153, 505(1) (b) , 505(1) (c). He was remanded to judicial custody until June 28. In 2020, he has been booked under sections 509 and 354D for harassing women journalists online.
