Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is an Indian film director who works predominantly in the Tamil film industry. She is the wife of actor and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi made her directional debut with the 2013 Tamil movie Vanakkam Chennai. The movie was produced by her husband Udhayanidhi Stalin, and it features Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles. She then helmed the film Kaali which stars Vijay Antony in the lead role. Udhayanidhi Stalin’s wife Kiruthiga has picked actor Ashwin Kumar (Cook With Comali 2 fame) for her next flick.

Her husband Udhaynidhi Stalin won his first assembly election in 2021 with a margin of 68,880 votes Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni/Triplicane constituency. He is now a minister of the Youth welfare and sports department.

Udhayanidhi entered the film industry as a producer and distributor with his production studio, Red Giant Movies, and made films like Kuruvi (2008), Aadhavan (2009), and Manmadan Ambu (2010).

Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi was born and brought up in Chennai, India. She began her career as the lead editor who heads the lifestyle magazine Inbox 1305. She was married to Udhayanidhi Stalin and gave birth to a son named Inbanithi and a daughter named Tanmaya. Udhayanidhi is the son of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and the grandson of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi.
