Khatushyam Ji or Barbarika is one of the Hindu gods. There is a popular temple located for this god in Rajasthan. The name of that temple is Khatushyam. It is said that the temple was built by a brave king Roopsingh Chauhan who ruled a small part of Rajasthan. The interesting fact is the people worship the god by cutting the head of Barbarika.

As per Hindu mythology, Barbarika is a legendary warrior. He is also a die-hard devotee of Lord Shiva. It also says that Khatu did a deep meditation for long days praying Shiva. Then Shiva came in front of him and afford three powerful arrow weapons to him. For a good reason, he committed suicide by cutting his head. Surprisingly, he was alive for a particular period of time after cutting his head and watched the Mahabharath war.

How to register online for Khatu Shyam temple darshan

Step by step procedure to book for Khatu darshan,

• Go to official website of Khatushyam temple “shrishyamdarshan.in”.
• Click on General Booking section.
• General Booking (for Indians): If you are an Indian, you should use the registration form from General Booking section.
  • In that form, you have to choose your preferred darshan date and time and members count (maximum 5 members eligible per registration).
  • You should also enter your personal details name, Aadhaar card number, email id and Contact Number.
  • And finally, you need to click Book Darshan button.

• Foreigner Booking: If you are not an Indian, you need to register on Foreigner Booking section.
  • In foreigner booking section, you can see a simple registration form where you must provide your name, contact number, date, email id and passport number.

Note: Due to the corona issue, train booking is not available.
