Kavya Shetty is an Indian film actress and model who predominantly works in Kannada film industry. She has also appeared in few Tamil films. Kavya is a professional model who took part in the 2011 Femina Miss India beauty pageant. She went on to work as a commercial model, before venturing into acting. She made her acting debut in the 2013 Kannada film Nam Duniya Nam Style directed by Preetham Gubbi. She is playing a prominent role in the Captain movie starring Arya in the lead role.

After completing her graduation, she started her career by doing few modelling assignments in several television commercials. She later moved to Bangalore and took part in the 2011 Femina Miss India beauty pageant, winning the ‘Miss Photogenic’ title. In 2011, Kavya was a finalist at the Ford Super Model of the World – India contest held at New Delhi. In the same year, Fashion Guru Prasad Bidapa noted kavya and made her walk on the ramp for several designers, most notably at the ‘Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week’ and Chennai International Fashion Week 2011.

She also worked as a commercial model and appeared in several print and television advertisements. Her notable endorsements in print are for Palam Silks (2011), Reliance Jewels (2012), Psr and Club Mahindra, Malabar Gold (2012). Kavya’s most notable television advertisements are Clinic Plus (2012), Toyota Altis (2011) and Santoor (2011).

In 2012, Kavya entered the Indian film industry where she made her debut in the film Nam Duniya Nam Style. She then acted in several Kannada movies and her previous film to hit the theatres was 3 Gante 30 Dina 30 Second in 2018.
