Kaviya Maran is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran, the founder of Asia’s biggest media company, Sun Network. Her mother is Kaveri Maran, the Joint Managing Director of that company. Kavya Maran works as a part of Sun Music and other FM channels of Sun Network, and in the future, she might be the one to take the entire business of Sun Network. She is also the grand-niece of the late former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M Karunanidhi. Her Uncle, MK Stalin, is the present Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Thus, she belongs to one of the most powerful political families in India.
Kavya Maran became the heartthrob of a youngster after she was seen in IPL matches. She is the CEO of the SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad) franchise. Her pictures often go viral during IPL periods. Her reaction during the IPL 2024 auction went viral on social media.
