Kavi Shastri is a British film and television actor, as well as, he is one of the established personality in the Indian Movie Industry. He made his debut TV show named Holby City in this he appeared in the role Asaf on BBC One in the year 2001. Then he made his debut movie It Could Be You in this movie he appeared in the role Sid which is an English movie in the year 2005. Kavi Shastri Details

Kavi Shastri was born on 19 February 1986 in London, England. Later Kavi Shastri family shifted to Mumbai, Maharashtra, India his father name is Kaushik and his mother name is Geeta and he has an elder brother named Ravi. Kavi Shastri did his schooling in George Tomlinson Primary school in Leytonstone, East London and during his school days, he studied at local dance and drama clubs. Then at the age of nine, he was enrolled into The Padmini Kholapuri School of Acting in London. Then in the year 1997, he started his studies at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, with his academic studied he trained in Ballet, Tap Dancing, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Drama. During his school days, he appeared in a small role in ITV’s This Morning and BBC One’s Holby City. Then he did his graduation in Academy’s College on a government scholarship in the year 2003. During his college days, he appeared in three seasons of CBBC’s hit drama show UGetMe and he also appeared in a British feature film It Could Be You. Then he moved to India and he did his Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts at that time he grabbed an award for his achievement in Drama from the Academy. Kavi Shastri wife name is Sherryl Wiltshire who is an Australian Indian they both got married on January 2012 in Mumbai.

Once after his graduation, Kavi Shastri appeared in an ITV’s The Bill TV show, with that, he also appeared in a British feature film Popcorn. In the year 2009, he shifted to India and enrolled in Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares. After his graduation, he appeared in a Hindi film Love Aaj Kal which is directed by Imtiaz Ali from this movie he met Vir Dac. Then the pair returned to Mumbai and started an India’s first Comedy Company ‘Weirdass Comedy‘ where they present some stand-up comedy shows, which performed across India and worldwide and who is the scriptwriter for Filmfare Awards, Zee Cine Awards and Stardust Awards. Then he appeared in various TV shows and after the four nominations at award shows he grabbed the award as the best newcomer at the 10th Indian Telly Awards. Later Kavi Shastri featured in two films named  Amit Sahni Ki List and Main aur Mr Riight and he also took a role in the movie Yash Raj Films Aurangzeb in the year 2013. Later he appeared in various Bollywood movies as well.
