She is an Associate Fellow at the International League of Conservation Photographers ILCPS. Kartiki came into the limelight for her nature Tamil documentary The Elephant Whisperers which is currently streaming on Netflix. She also works as freelance wildlife and nature photographer. Her works have been published in various national and international photography, travel, and wildlife magazines, and books.
