Karthika Nair is an Indian actress, who predominantly appears in South Indian film industry. She made her debut movie Josh which is a Telugu movie in this movie she appeared along with Naga Chaitanya in the year 2009. Moreover, she rose to fame from her second movie Ko, which is her debut Tamil movie in this movie she appeared along with Actor Jiiva. She made her debut TV serial titled Aarambh in this serial she appeared in the role Devasena which is a Hindi TV show telecasted in Star Plus. Karthika Nair was born on 27 June 1992, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Karthika Nair family is now residing in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her father name is Rajasekaran Nair and her mother name is Radha Nair who is the former Indian actress, with that, she has two siblings a brother and a sister, her sister, Thulasi Nair who is also the South Indian actress. She did her schooling in Podar International School, Mumbai and she did her graduation in London School of Economics and Political Science, London, England. She started her acting career at the age of 17 in the year 2009 from the Telugu movie Josh and for this movie she grabbed the Santosham Film Award for Best Debut Actress.

Then she appeared in a Malayalam movie Makaramanju in this movie she appeared in the role of Sugandha Bai, Urvashi. Later she appeared in various Tamil and the movie is directed by Lenin Rajeendran, then for this movie, she received SIIMA for Best Debut Actress for Malayalam and it is the 1st SIIMA Awards and Kerala Film Critics Association Award for best debut actress. She made her television serial which is an Epic drama Aarambh, and it is written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and directed by Goldie Behl and the serial is telecasted in Star Plus in the year 2017.
