Juhi Chawla is an Indian actress, film producer, model and winner of the 1984 Miss India beauty pageant, who predominantly appears in Bollywood film industry. She not only appears in Hindi movies she also works in other languages movie like Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu language films. She made her debut movie Sultanat in this movie she appeared in the role as Zarina in the year 1986. She recently featured in the movies titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Zero. Juhi Chawla was born on 13 November 1967 in Ambala, Haryana, India. Juhi Chawla family is now residing in Mumbai, Maharastra, India. Her father name is Late Dr S. Chawla who was an officer of the Indian Revenue Service and her mother name is Late Mona Chawla. She did her schooling in Fort Convent School, Mumbai and she did her graduation in Sydenham College, Mumbai. In the year 1984, she won the title Miss India, with that, she also won the Best Costume Award in the Miss Universe contest in 1984. Juhi Chawla husband name is Jay Mehta who is an industrialist and they both got married in December 1995. This couple blessed with two children a daughter Jhanvi born in 2001 and son Arjun born in 2003. Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla were the co-owners of the Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders in partnership with Shahrukh Khan under the company Red Chillies Entertainment.

She started her acting career in the year 1986, from the movie Sultanat and she received a wider public recognition from the highly successful tragic romance movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in the year 1988 and for this movie she won the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year. Then from the family drama Swarg, she established herself as a leading and actress in Hindi Cinema. Then in the following years, she appeared in various movies in all languages. Apart from acting, she appeared as a judge for the third season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Moreover, she appeared in several stage shows and concert tours, with that, she engaged in philanthropic activities. Juhi Chawla has become the co-owner of the production company called Dreamz Unlimited with Shahrukh Khan and director Aziz Mirza. She produced three movies titled Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Asoka and Chalte Chalte which is the success movie for her company.
